Mamie Burger have been satisfying the comfort food cravings of Parisians for years with their awesome homemade burgers. They whip up a huge variety of American classics around the clock here, with everything from loaded fries to dreamy milkshakes and homemade pecan pie. So when the time comes when only the best comfort food will do, this is the place for you.
Although Mamie became famous for their fabulous burgers, they're more than a one trick pony. For those looking for a light lunch on the go, grab one of their Armande salads, packed with superfoods like spinach and avocado, plus some sizzling bacon and fried onions to keep your going throughout the day. We love their Germaine option though, with rocket, candied tomatoes, grilled aubergines, peppers and mozzarella, for a veggie-friendly delight with all the flavours of the south.
At Mamie Burger, they've dedicated themselves to rustling up great American-style eats, and you can taste this focus in every single bite. By making every single burger to order – and from scratch – they've refined their burger-making skills so that when you order from Mamie, you're guaranteed some awesome eats. Every. Single. Time.
They started out as just one restaurant a few years ago, and they're now serving up their goodies from five other joints across the capital. We think this is a testament to all their burger-y magic.
With such an extensive burger menu, you're sure to find the one for you. If you want to keep things classical, opt for the Neveu Farmer – a beef patty made from Aubrac and topped with Saint-Nectaire, grilled bacon, mustard sauce and chives. Or instead, how about the Papi Dédé, layering beef with crispy bacon, melted cheddar, juicy pickles, caramelised onions and a healthy helping of sweet barbecue sauce.
If you're bored with the same-old toppings though, opt for the Tatie Monique burger, where spiced chicken is covered in fresh goat's cheese and spinach. Vegetarians, worry not – there's the Mother-in-Law burger for you – an organic quinoa pancake smothered in mozzarella and topped with fresh tomatoes, courgette, grilled aubergines and sweet peppers.
There's good news for those of you with a sweet tooth too, you can settle into your sofa with a slice of their homemade cheesecake, drizzled with a raspberry coulis. We love the Brownie though, served up in a jar with ice cream, for a real treat.
